TOP TRACKS #5

Top Tracks (March 2017)

We’re celebrating the first ‘Top Tracks of the Month’ anniversary on Explore Dream Discover :)!! I have always been a big fan of deep and soulful house tunes, which are definitely present in this month’s edition. However, disco and funk have never really been my thing, and I’ve only recently started discovering how cool these genres can be. As a consequence, the anniversary edition is a somewhat unusual one. While the previous ones focused mostly on techno, tech-house and deep house, this edition has a funk and disco twist. The first track by Lovebirds is definitely the one I’ve listened to most during March, even though it’s an oldie. There are two funky disco tracks I’ve discovered in DJ Koze’s recent set in Nitsa club, Barcelona. You can check out a very old Silicone Soul hit that managed to re-catch my attention, and some electronic beats which include a pinch of Latin music. Other than that this month’s edition includes tracks by Tod Terje, Julien Jabre, Herbert, Jack J, Adryiano, David August, Animal Trainer, Black Coffee, Purple Disco Machine, Daniel Leseman and Satin Jackets.
